Honda CBR 1000 F [1993-1999] - BASIC Tank Ring

BASIC tank ring for Honda CBR 1000 F from model year 1993

The model-specific tank ring fits the 1993 to 1999 Honda CBR 1000 F. It provides a mechanically locking connection for a suitable Hepco&Becker BASIC tank bag.

Matching set

The black tank ring and corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag are supplied. The retaining plate is positioned on the tank bag according to the tank geometry and steering lock. The fuel cap can still be opened with the ring fitted.

Operating the tank bag

• Attaches with an audible click
• Released using the front strap on the tank bag
• Recommended maximum speed: 130 km/h with tank bag fitted
• Recommended load: approx. 3 kg

The tank bag used must have a BASIC retaining plate. A Lock-it system retaining plate is not compatible with this ring. When installed as intended, ABE approval and registration are not required. The motorcycle manufacturer's specifications and model-specific instructions must also be observed.
