Honda CB 900 Hornet [2002-2005] - Tankring BASIC

BASIC tank ring for the Honda CB 900 Hornet 2002–2005

This model-specific tank ring allows a compatible Hepco & Becker BASIC tank bag to be used on the Honda CB 900 Hornet from 2002 to 2005. The required tank-bag retaining plate is already included in the complete kit.

Purely mechanical locking

Once fitted, the tank bag clicks audibly into the ring. To release it, the mechanism is unlocked using the bag's front strap. The fuel filler cap can still be opened with the tank ring fitted.

When attached to the tank bag, the retaining plate can be adjusted to suit the tank shape and steering lock. It is intended exclusively for the BASIC system; Lock-it components are not compatible. No type approval or registration is required when fitted as intended.
