Air-fuel ratio monitoring

In internal combustion engines, the correct air-fuel ratio is crucial for fuel efficiency. The lambda sensor, placed in the exhaust path, allows the air-fuel ratio to be displayed immediately. Ideally, this ratio is 14.7 for gasoline. The device indicates whether the fuel mixture is too rich (R) or too lean (L), which is essential for optimizing engine performance and reducing emissions.

Although the device is resistant to splash water, it is not completely waterproof. It is therefore not recommended to expose the device to direct water jets.
