The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in performance and durability for motorcyclists. Thanks to its innovative Z-ring technology, this state-of-the-art chain no longer requires regular relubrication, which was previously required every 1,000 km. This offers significant time and cost savings and increases convenience for the user.

Extensive tests both in the laboratory and on the road have proven that the service life of the HPE chain is at least as long, if not longer, than that of a conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chain. Another outstanding feature of this chain is the tetrahedral amorphous carbon (ta-C) coating, one of the most advanced forms of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings. This coating is applied to the surface of the bushings and rollers and ensures a reduction in energy losses and an increase in efficiency in the secondary drive.

The ta-C coating combines extreme hardness with a low coefficient of friction, resulting in improved performance. Eliminating the need to clean and lubricate the chain also minimizes environmental impact. This technological innovation was made possible by the intensive research and development work of Regina engineers in Italy.
