SUZUKI GSX R 600 [2006-2010] - Z-ring chain HPE

The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in motorcycle chain performance and durability. This ultra-modern chain does not require regular relubrication, which makes it particularly low-maintenance. Motorcyclists benefit from the groundbreaking technology that means they don't have to lubricate the chain every 1,000 km.

Extensive testing in laboratories and on the road has proven that the durability of the HPE chain is at least as high, if not higher, than that of a conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chain. A special feature of this chain is the coating with tetrahedral amorphous carbon (ta-C), one of the most advanced DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings. This coating is applied to the surface of the bushings and rollers and reduces energy losses while increasing efficiency in the secondary drive.

The very high hardness of the coated surface combined with a low coefficient of friction leads to improved performance and longevity. Additionally, the elimination of chain cleaning and lubricant splash during operation minimizes environmental impact. This innovative ta-C coating technology was developed through intensive research and development work by Regina engineers in Italy.
