SUZUKI GSX 1300 [2008-2013] - Z-ring chain

The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in motorcycle chain performance and durability. This highly developed chain does not require regular relubrication, which makes it particularly low-maintenance. Motorcyclists can therefore avoid the annoying re-lubrication every 1,000 km, which not only saves time but also protects the environment.

Thanks to the innovative Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon coating (ta-C), one of the most advanced coatings from the DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) group, the chain offers outstanding performance. This coating is applied to the chain's bushings and rollers and reduces energy losses while increasing efficiency in the secondary drive. The extremely high hardness of the coated surface combined with a low coefficient of friction results in improved performance and longevity.

Extensive tests in the laboratory and on the road have shown that the service life of the HPE chain is at least equal to, if not greater than, that of a regularly lubricated Z-ring chain. Eliminating the need for chain cleaning and avoiding lubricant splashes during operation further minimize environmental impact. These technological advances were made possible through intensive research and development work by Regina engineers in Italy.
