HONDA CBR 600 [2003-2021] - Z-ring chain

The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in motorcycle chain performance and durability. Thanks to its innovative technology, this highly developed chain no longer requires regular relubrication, which makes it particularly low-maintenance. Motorcyclists benefit from significant time and cost savings as the usual lubrication every 1,000 km is no longer necessary.

Regina's Z-Ring chain features a special Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon (ta-C) coating, one of the most advanced forms of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coatings. This coating is applied to the bushings and rollers of the chain and offers extremely high hardness while maintaining a low coefficient of friction. This leads to reduced energy distribution and increased efficiency in the secondary drive.

Extensive tests in the laboratory and on the road have shown that the service life of the HPE chain is at least as long, if not longer, than that of a conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chain. Additionally, the elimination of chain cleaning and lubricant splash during operation helps minimize environmental impact. The development of this groundbreaking coating technology was achieved through intensive research and development work by Regina engineers in Italy.
