The Power Commander V for Harley Davidson Chief Vintage [2014-2020] is characterized by its compact design, which is significantly smaller than its previous model PCIIISB. This device is supplied directly via USB, which means that the need for a 9-volt adapter for programming is no longer necessary. It offers an integrated function for switching between two mapping, whereby the required card switch is available separately.
Furthermore, the Power Commander V enables the inserted passage and adapts the mapping accordingly. An additional analogue input allows the connection of a 0-5 volt sensor to make specific adjustments based on parameters such as boost pressure or temperature. When using the gearbox input, the device can create individual fuel mapping for each cylinder in each course, which enables up to 24 different fuel tables in a 6-speed 4-cylinder motorcycle.
The setting area for fuel changes was expanded to -100/+250% in order to enable more precise fine -tuning. In addition, the Power Commander V offers ten columns for the throttle valve position, an improvement compared to the nine columns of the PCIIISB. The "acceleration pump" feature has also been improved and offers extended setting options and a more sensitive response area.
