The Regina 525 HPE Z-Ring Chain with Rivet Link sets new standards in motorcycle chain performance and durability. This highly developed chain does not require regular relubrication, which makes it particularly low-maintenance. Motorcyclists benefit from the innovative technology, which means they no longer have to lubricate the chain every 1,000 km.

Regina's Z-ring chain has been intensively tested both in the laboratory and on the road and has proven that its service life is at least as long, if not longer, than that of a conventional, regularly lubricated Z-ring chain. A special feature of this chain is the coating with Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon (ta-C), one of the most advanced coatings in the field of DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) technologies. This coating is applied to the surface of the bushings and rollers and ensures a reduction in energy losses and an increase in efficiency in the secondary drive.

The ta-C coating combines extreme hardness with a low coefficient of friction, resulting in increased efficiency. Eliminating the need to clean the chain and prevent lubricant contamination during operation also minimizes environmental impact. This advanced technology was developed through the intensive research and development work of Regina engineers in Italy.
