Minimalist complete conversion for BMW R 850 R and R 1100 R

The BASIC conversion kit transforms the BMW R 850 R or R 1100 R into a minimalist, lightweight-looking motorcycle with a clean front end, round headlight and redesigned rear. The oil cooler is positioned in front of the engine. The concept is intentionally designed without a windshield, but can be complemented with the optional windshields intended for it.

Front end, lighting and instrumentation

• Approved BASIC headlight including bulb and wiring
• Steel headlight frame with durable powder coating
• Handcrafted headlight guard made of powder-coated stainless steel; not approved for road use
• Digital instrument with black housing and bezel, 73 mm diameter and 41 mm height
• Displays speed up to 300 km/h, rpm, trip and total mileage, time, maximum speed, and trip and total riding time
• Two-line LCD with blue LED backlighting and analog bar graph for rpm
• Indicators for direction, lights, oil pressure, neutral, engine fault and fuel reserve
• Adjustable wheel circumference from 1 to 3999 mm and speed display in kilometers or miles
• Waterproof instrument housing, speed sensor with magnet, mounting kit, bracket and wiring with waterproof connectors
• Fuel level interface for the reserve indicator: Due to the standard reserve sensor, only full fuel level and reserve are displayed, with no intermediate levels

Handlebar and controls

• Steel handlebar with a width of 78 cm
• CNC-machined handlebar risers and handlebar mounts made of solid aluminum alloy with a matte black anodized finish
• Leather handlebar pad for the crossbar
• One mirror made of black anodized aluminum with a diameter of 72 mm
• Two CNC-machined aluminum bar ends with a gloss black finish and mounting screws
• The mirror is not approved

Suspension and tank area

• Ready-to-install front fender made of special resin with carbon fiber reinforcements and a matte black finish
• Pair of high-quality rubber fork gaiters to protect the fork during off-road use
• Steel side protection tube with a durable black epoxy powder coating
• Split-leather trim for the transition between the tank and the classically styled seat

Rear, seat and luggage

• High license plate holder made of black epoxy powder-coated steel tubing with an aluminum plate and mounts for the included turn signals
• Round taillight with chrome ring and bulbs
• License plate holder with a 185 × 185 mm mounting area
• Compact luggage rack made of steel tubing and an aluminum plate with non-slip pads, finished in matte black powder coating
• Seat made of genuine Italian leather with water-repellent canvas inserts, handcrafted cotton-thread stitching and an ABS base
• The seat is designed for long journeys and comes with a frame for installation on the original mounting points; the original lock and vehicle key remain usable
• Pair of lightweight side panels made of special resin with carbon fiber reinforcements and a matte black finish
• Four approved minimalist turn signals with 12 V/21 W bulbs and wiring; the front turn signals also emit orange light to the rear

Installation and compatibility

The kit is designed for BMW R 850 R and R 1100 R. On motorcycles with the original dual handlebar, the R handlebar included in the kit is required for installation and use. The original instruments are removed in this BASIC configuration and replaced with the digital instrument. It must be installed by qualified personnel.
