The H2O cylinder-piston kit from MALOSSI is designed for the Aprilia RX 125 from 2019-2026. With a bore of Ø 67 mm, a compression ratio of 12:1 and a piston-cylinder fit of 0.05 mm, it combines precisely defined dimensions with a design designed for high mechanical stress.

The cylinder is made of a high-silicon, refined and hardened aluminum alloy. Its inner liner has a silicon carbide coating on a galvanic nickel matrix. Cross-smoothing in two diamond steps supports compliance with tight manufacturing tolerances.

Pistons and piston rings

The super-compact piston with three segments is made from a special aluminum-silicon alloy with low thermal expansion. Tin on the sliding surfaces complements the material design. The CNC machining, the reduced weight and reinforced design as well as extra large heat exchange surfaces are tailored to the intended competition use.
