YAMAHA MT 07 [2020-2025] - Exhaust system

Inspired by the concept presented at EICMA in 2024, this exhaust system was designed to integrate seamlessly into the lines of the motorcycle. Made from high-quality stainless steel in one piece, formed using the latest technology, this system has a catalytic converter welded into the manifold. Completing the design is a handcrafted carbon fiber cover that encompasses the exhaust with a honeycomb pattern for exhaust protection and a red and white Akrapovic logo.

Installing the exhaust system is simple and does not require reprogramming the engine controls. During development, the focus was on optimal throttle response and increased power, resulting in an increase in power of 0.8 kW (1.1 hp) at 9,200 rpm and a torque increase of 0.6 Nm at 8,500 rpm compared to a Yamaha MT-07 with a stock exhaust system, tested on Akrapovic's proprietary test bench. In addition, the weight has been reduced by 28.6% (2.2 kg) compared to the standard exhaust system.

The complete exhaust system delivers a deep and sporty sound, is EC/ECE type-tested and complies with the Euro 5+ standard. It has been designed so that it can also be mounted in combination with the original Yamaha center stand and engine guards.
